Newsletter: Preview our new release

Dear MindMeister User,

We hope you've had an enjoyable summer - we've certainly had a busy one here at the MeisterOffice, one of the reasons why it's been a bit quiet on the newsletter front lately. But those days are over, so here's some first info about what we've been up to!

First off, the new release of MindMeister is almost here, and we've got some preview spots for those keen testers among you. Secondly, conference season has started again, and we've got some specials and promotions for existing and new MindMeister users for some great events. And last but not least, as always some internal news - pretty exciting this time!

Have fun reading,
  The MindMeister Team

Preview the New MindMeister

MindMeister Preview The fruit of this summer's labours is almost ripe - the new MindMeister version is close to being released! Due to the sheer number of new features and UI updates we would've called it MindMeister 3.0, but version numbers are sooo Web 1.0 ... anyway, we're quite proud of some of the new version and would really like to share the zing of it with a chosen few of you before going live.

So if you are a MindMeister Premium user and would like to catch a glimpse of the new release please drop us an email at preview@mindmeister.com - the first 50 to write will get an account on our preview server where the release candidate will be deployed soon!

Oh yeah, and the actual release is not that far away either, hopefully arriving within the next couple of weeks when those last few glitches are ironed out.

Internal News

Investment round closed

We're very excited to announce that we recently closed our first investment round. This increase of capital comes at a perfect time for us, especially given the recent growth we've had in the business and academic space. We'll soon be publishing some more info about the angel-funded round, which - apart from the cash - has brought in some really experienced guys too.

Renaming the company

Together with bringing in some new investors we've also give the company a new name that's more in line with the MindMeister brand. So, when in future your notification email footers say MeisterLabs instead of Codemart, don't worry, it's still us (and not some cheeky spammer faking modified maps where there aren't any ...).
