Newsletter: Introducing MindMeister 3.0
The new Mindmeister is finally here! It took a little longer than expected but we're very happy that it's finally out there. MindMeister 3.0 comprises a host of new features, enhancements and bug fixes. Besides improving the internals we also gave the user interface a little 18-months facelift - hope you like it! A lot of work has also gone into improving the Business and Academic Editions of MindMeister, complete with flexible new pricing plans. Finally - and this is one for the techies - we released a new embed API which together with our own file format makes it really easy now to integrate the MindMeister editor into other apps.
Cheers , What's New in MindMeisterRelease 3 contains lots of enhancements to the ease of use and overall consistency of MindMeister, plus some bigger feature blocks. Two important things we just didn't get done in time though - inline images and connections between ideas. They're in the making though, expect them before Christmas! Find some key new features below, or see a comprehensive list in the What's New in MindMeister 3.0 mind map.
New Business and Academic Editions
The Business Edition can now be licensed gaplessly for teams from two to 25 users, and then up to 500 users, all options including our 30-day free trial promise. The Academic Edition now has two licensing options - per campus (recommended), and per user. Both offer discounts of up to 90% on standard pricing as well as a 30-day free trial period. See details about all MindMeister Editions and get your free trials! New Embed APIWe've also done a lot of work on the new Embed API, which - together with the MindMeister file format (.mind) - now allows other applications to use the MindMeister editor/viewer from inside their application. This way your favourite project or document management tool can completely integrate with our service. To try out how this works, apply for an API key (if you don't yet have one) and use the "Test editor" demo box on our Embed API page. This API is still work in progress so we welome your feedback on any issues. If you're interested in embedding MindMeister in your editor, the best way is to get the embedding working and then contact us via the Support site. | ||
